Palace Concept

An alternative take on an ancient Egyptian culture infused with subtle sci-fi influences. This was a large scale personal project combining two design prompts; To design a Throne Room & Queen Character. Mixed 2d / 3d approach, utlising Feng Zhu's amazing brainstorming & previz workflow and then experimentation and modelling in blender 3d.

Throne Room concept. I imagined a mechanism that allows the control of a natural beam of light to illuminate the Queen only when desired.

Design breakdown. Palace is to act as the heart of the city. A mountain water source connects through the structure via aqueducts. Water flow into the city and irrigation systems.
